Yavneh is the fulfilment of a dream, תן לי יבנה וחכמיה.
A dream to create generations imbued with knowledge of and commitment to the values of the Torah, tradition and faith which we hold so dear, combined with the mission to create citizens who have great midot and for whom chessed, considerate behaviour, civic responsibility, charity and concern for others is a primary value. At the same time, we also charged with ensuring that our graduates excel in their secular studies so that they are able to take their rightful place in the highest positions in the wider world - following the Talmudic injunction; האב …כשם שחייב ללמדו תורה כך חייב ללמדו אומנות
Yavneh graduates are ‘at home’ in two worlds: in the Bet Midrash and at the very best universities. Our graduates, of whom we are so proud, are a living embodiment of that.
